M.Sc. Opening — POSMEC/UFSC 2026.2 (applications close July 3)
I am looking for a motivated M.Sc. student to join my research group in computational mechanics and biomechanics at UFSC. This position is associated with the official POSMEC selection process (Edital nº 02/2026) and is open to candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields.
Scholarship: R$ 2.100,00/month (CAPES/CNPq — full dedication required)
Research topics of interest:
- Computational solid mechanics and poromechanics
- Multiscale methods for soft biological tissues
- Orthopedic biomechanics and implant analysis
